Dr Rachel Deborah Robinson

Medical Scientist

An experienced, multidisciplinary scientist trained in medical imaging, scientific innovation, and consumer product research. I have experience in managing scientific projects, developing innovative solutions, and building teams to deliver projects on time.

Prior to working at Pharmora Solutions, I worked as a research scientist in the Laundry Category at Unilever R&D Port Sunlight, an Innovation Champion for Unilever HQ and as lecturer at the University of Manchester Science Enterprise Centre. Subsequent family time enabled consultancy-based roles for start-up businesses at the University of Manchester Incubator Company (UMIC) and voluntary roles as a Parish Councillor, and as a trustee for Girl Guiding UK Cheshire Border.

Most recently I have gone back to the University of Manchester and completed a master’s degree in medical imaging with a final dissertation applying artificial intelligence modelling to prostate cancer.

I enjoy working alongside teams and have considerable experience in innovation, project, and risk management processes. I also have many years as a Duke of Edinburgh supervisor working with much younger teams helping them to achieve their goals.
