I qualified in medicine 1986 at Liverpool University, completing specialist training in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. I joined the pharmaceutical industry in 1998 and have had roles in both Medical Affairs and late stage Clinical Development at UK, European and Global levels. I am equally comfortable with both operational roles and leading teams.

I have a particular interest in the integration of medical affairs strategy in early clinical development to demonstrate the value of new products at launch and facilitate health economic submissions for a successful launch strategy.

I have broad experience across many therapy areas, especially biologic agents in immunology and oncology.

I have been providing support in both Medical affairs and Clinical Development as an independent consultant since 2006.
