Training.

Pharmora can provide bespoke training packages and resources suited to your needs. The Pharmora Chief Medical Officer (CMO) has vast experience of running courses covering patient safety and clinical development topics, having written modules for Masters level courses in pharmaceutical medicine for several universities based in Europe and the UK.

Pharmora also has expertise in developing resources for you to use in house, from guidelines on patient level data reviews to slide decks for training investigator sites on RECIST. The CMO will review all training materials and ensure they are of the highest quality and meet your requirements.

We have built a strong reputation by delivering high quality services in order to support our clients to achieve their goals. Feel free to reach out for an informal discussion to find out more.

Challenges faced by clients

Click below to read about some of the challenges faced by our clients and the solutions Pharmora used to address them:

Challenge: Flexible resource

Contract resource can often be provided by independent contractors identified through a recruitment agency and taken on a short-term contract. The risks with this are that the contractor may require upskilling or they may be unsuited to the role. The hiring organisation then has the responsibility of training and supporting the contractor while they learn, and managing any issues.

Pharmora solutions

Pharmora does not work as a recruitment agent. All of our employees have been through a thorough and comprehensive assessment process and are trained by an experienced safety physician. All training is led by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), who was qualified as an educational supervisor by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians of London. Suitable Pharmora staff will be matched with the role and mentored to ensure they embed quickly and smoothly into the client’s team. Any upskilling or other training needs or issues are managed by Pharmora, leaving the client only with the support they require. Uncomfortable conversations between the client and the contractor are avoided as Pharmora will manage any issues and substitute where needed. In this way Pharmora continues to provide an assured service, giving our clients the best of both worlds as we source the best talent, train them to the gold standard and provide excellent services through them to meet our clients’ needs.

Challenge: Bespoke training needs

There are many times where training needs become apparent but there is no internal training available and no suitable external “off the shelf” courses. At these times the client has a specific training need and comes to Pharmora to provide this.
